Paris is noted for its romantic appeal. It is situated on the banks of the river Seine and is also known as the City of Lights. A trip to would not be complete without a visit to the Louvre museum. It houses over three hundred thousand exhibits but not all of them are ever on display at the same time. It also features an observatory to take in surrounding views, it stands in the place where the city's main avenues begin including the Champs Elysees.

This city has a huge variety of places to visit, many of these have not even mentioned here; these are however, the most popular with regular tours arranged, many of which are either free or at a subsidized cost. A Paris short stay vacation will probably be best suited as just a taster of the city; anything else on your to see list can wait for your next trip.
